About The Journey

The plan for 2008 is to go on a culinary journey around as much of Europe and north & west Africa as we can cover, gathering recipes and stories as we go.

We'll be posting pictures, recipes, food facts and general diary stuff on the way, and we'll try to keep this map (and the little one on the front page) updated so that you can see where we are:

We're not really sure what the timetable will be, of course, and no doubt it will change a lot as things go on, but the initial plan is to split the journey into two legs, essentially Europe first and Africa second, coming back to the UK in between (in August) in order to arrange the official paperwork we'll need for the second bit. But here's a rough guess at how it'll pan out:
